Kim has been part of the Kansas City BBQ Community for over 25 years. Wearing lots of hats - An award winning competitive cook; a business owner helping her husband teach outdoor cooking and creating a successful line of BBQ Products; and supporting her community by donating her time and BBQ skills for charities and causes throughout the city and country.

Her passion started by learning techniques and flavors with her husband as they traveled the country competing with their daughters and dogs in tow. 

It continues to grow today as she’s been able to make friends and “BBQ Family” around the globe sharing that passion and winning a few awards along the way. 

Kim is excited to share that passion, knowledge, as well as some great stories and continue to expand her “BBQ Family” leading our Kansas City location. 

Born and raised in Kansas City, Kim is a fan of the Chiefs and KU Basketball. She loves the amazing creativity in KC food scene, including craft beer and cocktail programs - when she isn’t at the store, she’s likely hunting the next great sip or bite with her husband! Once it’s time to recharge, you will find her crocheting while listening to a true crime podcast or book.
